A man missing from Nelson Bay has been located safe and well.
Shannon Blackie, 26, was reported missing last Thursday after family told police they hadn’t heard from him for three weeks.
Mr Blackie was was located safe and well on Saturday, June 9.
Police have thanked the media and the community for their assistance in locating Mr Blackie.
June 7:
Police are appealing for public information on the whereabouts of a Nelson Bay man, missing for several weeks.
Shannon Blackie, aged 26, was reported missing to police when his family had not heard from him for three weeks.
His father and police hold serious concerns for his welfare.
Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District commenced inquiries to locate the man and are appealing for the community’s assistance.
Shannon is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build with brown hair and brown eyes. Police are seeking a photo of the missing man
