The Seaside Scavenge will now be held at Robinson Reserve on Saturday, April 13.
The event is based on the concept of trading trash for treasure.
Running from 9am to 1pm, the Seaside Scavenge will see community members trading beach litter for a range of vintage and upcycled items including clothes, accessories and more at a pop-up market.
After cleaning up the beach and reserve, the trash collected, once sorted, becomes the currency in the pop-up, pre-loved market. On offer to buy is clothes, books, toys and more that have been donated by community.
There will also be live music and a chance to view Port Stephens Council's plans for the improvements at Robinson Reserve.
There council is currently developing the design for a major upgrade to recreation facilities at the reserve.
More information about the project, including the concept design, is available on haveyoursay.portstephens.nsw.gov.au/robinson-reserve.
