For many graduating students, the end-of-year celebrations took on extra meaning following a challenging 2020.
At Hunter River High, a night of presentations, speeches and awards reflecting on 13 years of schooling was conducted at Harbourview Function Centre in Newcastle. Year 12 adviser Warwick Rolfe said that students took advantage of the opportunity to celebrate in style, after enduring a very challenging year.
Irrawang High's Year 12 students also finished the year in style, celebrating at Newcastle's Merewether Surf House.
