A full-day course on composting, biodynamic gardening and seed saving will take place at Tahlee on Saturday, February 15, from 9.30am until 4.30pm for $10 per person.
Shane Martin, of Nungra Gardens, who is organising the day, said there would be plenty of hands-on skills to learn.
"It's a fun day and we will be getting down and dirty," he said.
This will include learning how to make biodynamic compost and manure concentrate, an introduction to the biodynamic astro-planting calendar and a discussion on starting a local seed-saving network.
Participants should wear work clothes, gloves, hats and boots.
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided but participants are asked to bring a plate for lunch.
Bookings are essential, with a maximum of 20 people able to participate in the day.
For more information or to book, contact Shane Martin on 0421 228 499 or John Anderson of Tahlee Ministries on 4997 3003.
