Police said at about 9.35pm on Monday, January 27, a Subaru station wagon being driven by a 20-year-old Stroud man collided with a large bull between Booral and Allworth.
The bull was killed on impact.
Police said the car continued out of control for about 350 metres before hitting a guard rail.
They said the driver suffered minor cuts to his neck and soreness to his back while his 19-year-old female passenger from Stroud suffered a major cut to her forehead.
The pair were airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital. Investigations are continuing to find the owner of the bull.
