Penshorn and band will tour a musical tribute to Diamond to Soldiers Point Bowling Club on Saturday, June 19.
Diamond's most popular songs including Solitary Man, Cherry Cherry, Girl You'll Be A Woman Soon, Holly Holy, Sweet Caroline, Kentucky Woman and Crunchy Granola Suite will feature in the two big sets that create the popular tribute show.
Penshorn has had a fascination with Diamond ever since he discovered their voices were uncanny similarity.
The Novocastrian not only emulates the distinct voice of Neil Diamond, but puts on a performance that is second to none.
Backed by his band with a dynamic brass section and female backing vocals, the show captures all the hits that made Diamond so famous.
Penshorn's show is considered to be an experience - one that is visually stunning and musically superb.
Tickets, available now from the Soldiers Point club, cost $39.
Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. The show will wrap up about 10pm.
