Williamtown/Salt Ash Rural Fire Brigade and Raymond Terrace Fire and Rescue have their annual lolly runs locked in for this weekend with Fingal Bay and Anna Bay RFS brigades to follow next week.
The Williamtown and Salt Ash lolly run will kick off at 3pm on Saturday, with the brigade taking two routes this year.
All four of the brigades trucks will be used to cover the Salt Ash and Williamtown areas.
Track Santa's progress on the Williamtown/Salt Ash Rural Fire Brigade Facebook page.
Residents living on a main or hard to access road, where the trucks cannot stop, are being directed to meet Santa and firefighters in other streets.
Raymond Terrace Fire and Rescue will kick off its annual Santa lolly run about 8.30am on Sunday, December 19 with the first stop being the Lakeside area followed by Irrawang and Pommy Hill about 11.30am, the CBD and Riverview about 2pm and Heatherbrae about 5.30pm.
The Fire and Rescue crew will escort Santa, once again riding in the sidecar of a Harley Davidson, through residential streets in Raymond Terrace and Heatherbrae where they anticipate some 5000 lolly bags will be handed out to children.
"We are excited to once again deliver the lolly run in Raymond Terrace and Heatherbrae," Raymond Terrace Fire and Rescue deputy captain Giacomo Arnott said.
"Last year we threw 5000 bags of lollies to kids across our area. We went street-to-street last year because of the COVID-19 restrictions, which was really well received, so we're going to go street-to-street again this year."
Santa's progress will be live tracked on the Raymond Terrace Fire and Rescue Facebook page on the day.
The Fingal Bay and Anna Bay Rural Fire Brigades will host their Santa runs on Christmas Eve.
The Fingal crew and Santa will depart the station at 2.30pm on December 24 and will make their way through residential streets of Fingal Bay.
Residents are encouraged to track Santa's progress on the brigade's Facebook page on the day and say g'day when Santa is in the area.
The Anna Bay brigade said it has been talking with the "jolly fellow in the bright red suit at the North Pole" and has been advised that "he will definitely been doing his annual lolly run on Christmas Eve around our communities".
Routes and times are expected to be released on the Anna Bay Rural Fire Brigade Facebook page closer to December 24.
